End Tensioner For 1 1/2″ Polytape

Drill an 1/8″ pilot hole in the post. Assemble the tensioner body according to the diagram, leaving off on the triangle. Bolt the assembly to the post. Do not overtighten, the ring hook should be snug but still spin easily by hand around the piston.

Snap the triangles into the ring hook so the tips of the inner rods are pointed at you.

Fold a 6″ loop in the tape toward you, and feed the loop through the back of the tensioner.

Slip the loop over the outer rod. Walk down the fence line pulling the slack through the insulators from post to post. At the opposing end, take up slack with one hand while pulling through the tensioner with the other.
