Testing an electric fence

• Touch the top of the tester to the electrified fence
• Push the tester button
• The tester will light up showing the approximate voltage at that location on the fence

Testing an electric fence energizer

• Turn the energizer off
• Disconnect the fence wire from the energizer
• Turn the energizer on
• Touch the top of the tester to the positive energizer terminal
• Push the tester button
• The tester will light up showing the approximate voltage from the energizer
